Summertime
The past two days I have spent hours outdoors, crisping my skin just enough, sipping cocktails, and taking in the perfection. I'm happy and comfortable in flowy sundresses, and thrilled that all traces of winter are now stuffed under the bed. It's a holiday weekend, the first one of 2011 (according to CCO), and I'm going to enjoy every single second. I really wish I had a job that was either one big holiday (unemployment) OR one that let me relax every day of the summer OR one that just felt like a big barrel of fun at all times. I refuse to accept that none of these are in my future. In the meantime...I'll continue zoning for all of the boring parts..

i miss our summertime together.
ReplyDeletemike got home last night so we'll be doing some serious lounging today, too. now if spring would just get its sweet ass to this side of the states, we'd be set. miss you!
